The Georgetown Palace Theater is announcing auditions for Mel Brooks' Broadway hit The Producers.
Show dates are Friday, Saturday nights, and Sunday afternoons from September 26 - November 2nd with a possible extension to the following week. If you are auditioning specifically for ONLY either of the two leads, Leo and Max, please have two audition songs ready.
Otherwise, please select one audition song that best reflects the role or roles you're auditioning for (remember: Ulla belt.) Also, a one minute monologue will be required - please choose either a comic monologue or a monologue that shows off your comic ability in some fashion.
Auditions are being held in half hour blocks with 3-4 people per block: Sat July 12th from 3-5:30. Sun July 13 from 5-9 PM. Mon July 14 from 7 to 9. Callbacks are Tuesday and Wednesday, July 15 and 16, from 7 PM.
