Austin Civic Orchestra Spring Concert
Spring ConcertThe
Austin Civic Orchestra?s spring concert features works from many of the great operas. The orchestra will be joined by four of Austin's stellar vocalists performing some of their favorite arias.
Baritone Bruce Cain, mezzo-soprano Carol Kreuscher, tenor David Stephens and soprano Claire Vangelisti will travel amongst operas by Verdi, Nicolai, Mozart, and Bizet. In the operatic tradition, the ACO will open the evening with Wagner's Rienzi overture. They will close the concert with Stravinsky's breathtaking Firebird Suite.
