Greater Austin Clay Artists (GACA) Members Show EXHIBITION: "Sharing a Passion for Clay 2008"
Free and open to the public: The Greater Austin Clay Artists (GACA) is pleased to present "Sharing a Passion for Clay 2008" in conjunction with the "Art of the Pot Tour" during Mother's Day Weekend. The show, hosted by E4 Gallery and Art Studio at Armadillo Clay, features new pieces by a diverse group of artists who work in various clay forms and techniques with one common connection, a passion for clay.
A reception with the artists opens Thursday, May 8 from 6-9 p.m. at E4 Gallery and Art Studio on East 4th Street in Austin, Texas. The show will continue on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 from 10-5 p.m. and Sunday from 10-4 p.m. Artist demonstrations will be held throughout the day on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11. Admission to the artist's reception and show is free to the public. GACA, founded in 2003, is an affiliate of the Texas Clay Artists Association (TCAA). The group seeks to encourage and promote functional, sculptural, and decorative ceramics in the Central Texas Region.
